Millry is 8-1-1 against Southern Choctaw since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Millry will face off against Southern Choctaw at 5:00 p.m.

Millry fell victim to Jackson and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Southern Choctaw posted their closest victory since April 17, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Fruitdale 11-10. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Emerald Dunigan was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Kensley McIlwain was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Dunigan wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Southern Choctaw lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Southern Choctaw pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.8 runs. As for Millry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6-1.

Millry might still be hurting after the 30-8 defeat they got from Southern Choctaw in their previous meeting on March 13th. Can Millry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
