Football Recap: Liberty's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

Liberty had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 26-19 victory over the Vista del Lago Ravens. This was payback for the Bison, who suffered a 43-26 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The critical scores for Liberty came from Dominic Hall, Christopher Debose, Daxton Laurer, and Parris Peacock.

As for Vista del Lago, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2. Despite 103 more yards than Liberty, the Ravens couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the defeat, Vista del Lago saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Josiah Dupree-Boyd rushed for 89 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 194 yards and one touchdown.

Looking ahead, Liberty will challenge Orange Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vista del Lago, they will host Rancho Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
