Baseball Recap: Central Carolina Academy Takes a Loss

Central Carolina Academy is still winless after their contest against Lee Christian on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 two weeks ago.

Central Carolina Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lee Christian, their record is now 4-7.

Coming up, Central Carolina Academy will face off against Southern Wake Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee Christian, they will square off against Northwood Temple Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
