Football Game Preview: Grayson Rams vs. Carrollton Trojans + How To Watch

The Grayson Rams will square off against the Carrollton Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grayson will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Grayson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Colquitt County as they made off with a 31-10 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' national football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Packers are ranked 89th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grayson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brandon Gray, who rushed for 49 yards and three TDs. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Gray a new career-high. Ashton Turner was another key back, rushing for 106 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Carrollton was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Harrison 51-6. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Trojans just coasted through the last quarter.

Grayson better keep an eye on Cameron Wood. He was instrumental in Carrollton's win, rushing for 159 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. Wood is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Another signal caller making a difference was CJ Cypher, who threw for 140 yards and three TDs on perfect 8-for-8 passing.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carrollton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 228 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Grayson, their win bumped their record up to an identical 12-0.

Grayson strolled past Carrollton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 38-24. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
