Basketball Recap: NV - Old Tappan Comes Up Short

NV - Old Tappan was the 68-62 winner over Teaneck when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Teaneck Highwaymen on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Golden Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Highwaymen are ranked 14th).

NV - Old Tappan has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Teaneck, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

NV - Old Tappan has already played their next matchup (against Pascack Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Teaneck has already played their next contest, a 78-35 win against Bergenfield on the 23rd.
