Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Henry County Patriots on Thursday, sneaking past 8-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Henry County, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Lexington has already played their next matchup (against Gibson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Henry County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Milan on the 10th.
