Football Recap: Gulf Shores Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Gulf Shores, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 10-6 W over the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets on Friday. The Dolphins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Gulf Shores' defense and their six sacks. McGill-Toolen's QB won't forget Gabriel Ervin anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Ervin is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Landon Everett was another major factor on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, forcing one fumble, and making 13 total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Gulf Shores' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for McGill-Toolen, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.
