Weaver never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Saks Wildcats 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Weaver, bringing their record for this year to 5-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Saks, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
