Volleyball Recap: Crossroads Christian Starts Season with Win on the Road

Crossroads Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Islamic Foundation Chargers 2-1.

Crossroads Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Islamic Foundation fell to 2-1.

Crossroads Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Trinity Oaks Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on May 1. As for Islamic Foundation, they will face off against College Prep of America at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
