After a string of four wins, Crockett County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Crockett County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Crockett County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dyer County at 5:00 p.m. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against St. Andrew's Episcopal on the 6th.
