Softball Recap: Galion Falls Short of Oak Harbor in the Playoffs

Galion and Oak Harbor squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Galion had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 5-4.

Madelyn Schieber made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Holt, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Galion's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Oak Harbor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Galion nor Oak Harbor have any future games scheduled.
