Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Comes Up Short

St. Patrick-St. Vincent lost against Hercules back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins fell just short of the Hercules Titans by a score of 3-2.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent took Hercules into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 23-25, 18-25, 15-9.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. The victory got Hercules back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will venture away from home to take on Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hercules, they are taking a road trip to face off against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
