Basketball Game Preview: Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions vs. O'Fallon Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions challenge the O'Fallon Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday... Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Saturday, Cardinal Ritter College Prep came up short against Battle and fell 71-64. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, O'Fallon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 49-43 to Mt. Vernon.

O'Fallon dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cardinal Ritter College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Cardinal Ritter College Prep beat O'Fallon 61-54 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Does Cardinal Ritter College Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will O'Fallon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
