Football Recap: Little Chute Mustangs vs. Winneconne Wolves
Little Chute kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winneconne Wolves. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Jack Quigley, who picked up 126 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 58 yards.
Little Chute will be defending their home-field for the first time for the first time when they go up against New London at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winneconne, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Omro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
