Softball Recap: North Providence Takes a Loss

North Providence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the South Kingstown Rebels, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North Providence's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South Kingstown, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Providence will welcome Central Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Kingstown, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Johnston at 4:00 p.m.
