Port Allegany had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Gators sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madalyn Dehart, who had nine blocks, seven kills, and five digs. The dominant performance gave Dehart a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Altman, who had four digs, four aces, and a kill.
Port Allegany's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
