Volleyball Recap: Gerstell Academy vs. Glenelg Country Dragons
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gerstell Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Glenelg Country Dragons on Sunday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time Gerstell Academy couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
Glenelg Country was led to victory by Kennedy Cummins and Sureena Sokhey. Cummins had 19 digs and five aces, while Sokhey had 12 digs. Cummins has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more digs the last ten times she's played. Kyla Wooten also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
