Softball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kolbe-Cathedral on Friday, Weston came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 21-9 to the Bethel Wildcats on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Weston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bethel, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Weston will take on Pomperaug at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bethel, they will challenge Newtown at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
