Recap: Middleton Tigers vs. Humboldt Vikings

The Middleton Tigers came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Humboldt with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. This was payback for Middleton, who suffered a 57-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Middleton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan Talley out in front who scored 13 points. Kemora Buggs was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.

Middleton pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Humboldt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Middleton will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bradford at 6:00 p.m. Middleton is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on a 11-game losing streak. Humboldt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
