Basketball Recap: Center Point Comes Up Short

Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 37th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 71-30 loss at the hands of the Hayden Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Wildcats are ranked 38th).

Center Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hayden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

When Center Point and Hayden next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Center Point will try to stop Corner's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hayden will challenge Herriman and their four-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
