Football Recap: Royal Piles Up the Points Against Del Sol

Royal never let their opponents score on Friday. They really took it to the Del Sol Jaguars for the full four quarters, racking up a 37-0 victory. The Highlanders pushed the score to 30-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jaguars had little chance of recovering from.

Landen Murray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.

Murray was just one part of a punishing run game: Royal was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Royal's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Royal didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-24 victory against Hueneme on the 26th. As for Del Sol, after each having a week off, they and Grace will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The game will give the Jaguars their first taste of in-conference action this season.
