Basketball Recap: Golden Piles Up the Points Against Prairie View

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Golden). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Prairie View Thunderhawks 78-7. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 30 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ashlyn Bates, who posted 24 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Neal, who put up 15 points.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. As for Prairie View, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Golden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-8 win against Skyline on the 12th. As for Prairie View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-33 victory against Adams City on the 17th.
