Soccer Recap: Newsome Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Newsome won the last time they faced East Bay and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Newsome Wolves never let the East Bay Indians onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory. It was an even better day for Carter Chaney as he scored three goals for his team.

Something new happened on Tuesday as Christopher Farren saw his first action of the season, playing nine minutes against East Bay. Farren made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Newsome pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four matchups. As for East Bay, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newsome will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Plant at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. East Bay will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Parrish Community at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
