Baseball Recap: South East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Huntington Park on Wednesday, South East came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell 6-1 to the Sylmar Spartans on Thursday.

South East saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delonte Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

South East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Sylmar, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

South East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Roosevelt on the 28th. As for Sylmar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Poly on the 28th.
