Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Webb School walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 victory over the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Feet as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

The Webb School found their leader in freshman Makynli Bacon, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 23 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bacon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daria Biriuk, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

The Webb School's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.

The Webb School will square off against Goodpasture Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Webb School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. Donelson Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
