Basketball Game Preview: North Union Warriors vs. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals

The North Union Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Union, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Union beat Eagle Grove 60-55.

Meanwhile, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Clear Lake 76-39. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

North Union has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
