Broadwater Academy is a perfect 5-0 against Arcadia since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to square off against the Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. Broadwater Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Broadwater Academy barely beat Isle of Wight Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Chargers on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Ramsey Revelle, who gave up just six hits and racked up six Ks to keep Isle of Wight Academy off the board. Revelle has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kacey Ford was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Ava Webb, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Arcadia's offense. They fell just short of Southampton by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Firebirds were not able to get on the board.

Broadwater Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Broadwater Academy's way against Arcadia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Broadwater Academy made off with a 17-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
