Basketball Recap: Akiachak Starts off Right with Win over Bethel

Akiachak had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 66-48 victory over the Bethel Warriors on Friday. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 58-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Akiachak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-59 win against Bethel on the 4th. Bethel has also already played their next contest, a 48-42 loss against Non Varsity Opponent on the 3rd.
