Anacortes strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bellingham Bayhawks 68-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Seahawks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Bayhawks are ranked 176th).

Shia Webster had a dynamite game, rushing for 229 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Those 229 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Harrington, who rushed for 72 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Anacortes was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 379 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Anacortes' record is now 3-0. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Anacortes didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-23 win against Lynden on the 26th. As for Bellingham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 61-28 defeat against Archbishop Murphy on the 26th.
