De Smet Jesuit came tearing into Thursday's contest with 19 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Christian Brothers Cadets 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

De Smet Jesuit walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Cole Esparza paced De Smet Jesuit's offense, picking up 14 kills. Esparza got some help from Ryker Whittle and his 17 assists. Whittle was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

De Smet Jesuit pushed their record up to 28-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Christian Brothers, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16-1.

As of now, neither De Smet Jesuit nor the Cadets have any future games scheduled.
