Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More was the 61-43 winner over Paxton-Buckley-Loda when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Thomas More Sabers took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers.

St. Thomas More's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.

Coming up, St. Thomas More will be playing at home against Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monticello has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they will head out on the road to take on Illinois Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
