Basketball Recap: Serena Takes a Loss

Serena lost against Newark back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Serena Huskers took a 62-44 bruising from the Newark Norsemen. The Huskers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Long continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Newark, going 10 of 16 to rack up 28 points. Another player making a difference was Reggie Chapman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 assists.

Serena now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Newark, their win bumped their record up to 15-12.

Coming up, Serena will be playing at home against Marquette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark, they will head out on the road to challenge Sandwich at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
