South Tahoe won the last time they faced Truckee and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings blew past the Wolverines 20-12. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.

South Tahoe is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Truckee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

South Tahoe and Truckee are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Vikings will take on Fernley at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. South Tahoe's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vaqueros have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Truckee, they will venture away from home to take on Loyalton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
