Indianapolis Crispus Attucks had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 59-54 victory over the Cathedral Fighting Irish on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Dezmon Briscoe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more blocks the last 12 times he's played. Kayden English was another key player, going 6-for-9 on his way to 15 points.

Several Fighting Irish players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidan Hughes, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 12 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Brady Koehler, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Cathedral, they moved to 20-5 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Indianapolis Crispus Attucks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-55 win against Indianapolis Shortridge on the 8th. Cathedral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
