Volleyball Recap: Carlmont Victorious

Carlmont picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Hoover Patriots by a score of 2-0.

Erik Gordi paced Carlmont's offense, picking up 13 kills. Gordi got some help from Tyler Louie and his 25 assists. Louie was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Carlmont's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hoover, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Carlmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fresno Christian on the 1st. As for Hoover, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Paraclete on the 1st.
