Volleyball Recap: Spanish Fork Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Spanish Fork unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Herriman Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dons of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanish Fork is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Stansbury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Herriman, they will head out to square off against Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
