Coral Reef put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They never let the American Patriots onto the board and left with a 17-0 victory. Give Coral Reef's pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.
Aubrey Alonso made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Alonso has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Alonso was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles.
