Baseball Recap: Allentown Central Catholic Vikings vs. Emmaus Hornets
Allentown Central Catholic lost a close one when they played last Monday but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They lost 15-1 to the Emmaus Hornets. Allentown Central Catholic has struggled against Emmaus recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
For Emmaus' part, Cohen Schadler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Kauffman, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Allentown Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Emmaus, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
