Volleyball Recap: Vista Meridian Comes Up Short

Vista Meridian and Duarte squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Vista Meridian had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Meridian Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-13.

Vista Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Duarte, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-13.

Vista Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Duarte, they will head out to take on San Jacinto Valley Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
