Trinity has gone 3-0 against Providence Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Trinity Blazers will look to defend their home court against the Providence Catholic Celtics at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Trinity strolled past Plainfield South with points to spare, taking the game 65-48. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Cougars are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Providence Catholic posted their biggest victory since November 27, 2024 on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 52-12 win over Southland College Prep.

The victory made it two in a row for Trinity and bumps their season record up to 15-7. As for Providence Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Trinity beat Providence Catholic 45-38 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will Trinity repeat their success, or does Providence Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
