The Romulus Eagles will face off against the Fitzgerald Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Torrence Searcy had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 250 yards and six TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Those 250 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Jayden Morgan was Searcy's top target, picking up 117 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Romulus' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. In that department, Nyaire Wilson was the leader with two sacks.

Meanwhile, Fitzgerald hadn't done well against Port Huron Northern recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans walked away with a 36-23 victory over the Huskies.
