Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for London

There's no place like home for London, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bellefontaine Chieftains on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

London got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-16, 34-32.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead London to victory, but perhaps none more so than Riley Cremeens, who had 20 digs and two assists. Cremeens has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played. Bryn Trimble was another key player, getting 11 digs and three assists.

London was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. They are 8-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

London's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. As for Bellefontaine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6 record this season.

London does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellefontaine, they will take on Ponitz Career Tech at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
