Basketball Game Preview: Morgan County Bulldogs vs. Carver Tigers

The Morgan County Bulldogs will challenge the Carver Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Morgan County sitting on 14 straight wins and Carver on four.

Morgan County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Westside 70-54.

Meanwhile, Carver won against Tattnall County on Friday with 43 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Carver beat Tattnall County by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 43-38.

Morgan County pushed their record up to 20-9 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for Carver, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.

Morgan County was taken down by Carver 94-31 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Morgan County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
