Basketball Game Preview: Providence Prep Rams vs. Texas Wind

Providence Prep and Texas Wind are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Providence Prep Rams will welcome Texas Wind at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Providence Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Texas Wind likes a good challenge.

Providence Prep picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They secured a 72-67 W over Central Texas Christian.

Meanwhile, Texas Wind didn't have quite enough to beat Itasca on Friday and fell 55-52. Texas Wind hasn't had much luck with Itasca recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Texas Wind's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Providence Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Providence Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Texas Wind in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 63-50. Will Providence Prep repeat their success, or does Texas Wind have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
