Basketball Game Preview: Loudoun Valley Vikings vs. Walkersville Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Loudoun Valley Vikings will get right back to it and host the Walkersville Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Loudoun Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Tuscarora, taking the game 38-29. The 38-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Walkersville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-23 victory over Governor Thomas Johnson. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

Loudoun Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Walkersville, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
