Baseball Recap: Community Triumphs

Community posted their closest win since April 21, 2025 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Moore County Raiders, sneaking past 3-1. The Vikings/Viqueens haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Community's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Haley, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Isaiah Beech was another, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Community's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Moore County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagleville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Moore County, they will take on Upperman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
