Chapel Hill wins going away against Northern Durham

Recap: Chapel Hill Tigers vs. Northern Durham Knights
The Chapel Hill Tigers waltzed into their matchup Saturday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They blew past Northern Durham 69-43. Chapel Hill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matches by 20 points or more this season.
David Mirikwe was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for him. Franklin Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Chapel Hill's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Northern Durham, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Chapel Hill and Cardinal Gibbons will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Northern Durham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Person at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Person is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
