San Elizario had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Martinez it was a similar story. While Irvin might've come up empty on Saturday, Angel Valenzuela wasn't going down without a fight. Valenzuela was unstoppable, picking up two sacks and making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Valenzuela is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Bowie on Thursday. Valenzuela made 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception the last time he and the Bears duked it out back in September of 2024.
