Carlos Rojas III Goes Supernova in Riverside Win
Starting off the list is Riverside's Carlos Rojas III, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rojas III rushed for 214 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 134 yards and three TDs. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

Fabens came out on top against San Elizario on Friday thanks in part to Jesus Martinez's efforts. Martinez turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 39 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes.
San Elizario had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Martinez it was a similar story. Martinez rushed for 103 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 295 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in September of 2024.

While Irvin might've come up empty on Saturday, Angel Valenzuela wasn't going down without a fight. Valenzuela was unstoppable, picking up two sacks and making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Valenzuela is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Bowie on Thursday. Valenzuela made 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception the last time he and the Bears duked it out back in September of 2024.

Armando Guzman's big game helped extend Ysleta's winning streak to four on Friday. Guzman turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 140 receiving yards and two scores.
