Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monterey). They blew past the False River Gators 69-18 on Tuesday. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Monterey has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points per game. As for False River, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Monterey will venture away from home to square off against Glenmora at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monterey is facing Glenmora at the right time seeing as Glenmora is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for False River, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Louisiana School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. False River will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Louisiana School for the Deaf will have lost 11 straight heading into Thursday's contest.
