Soccer Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Rowan Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Concord of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for East Rowan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Concord wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Salisbury on the 1st. As for East Rowan, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Northwest Cabarrus on the 1st.
